We had a warehouse sale scheduled for 1PM on 8/22. There was a power outage affecting our segment of Columbia City, and thankfully the bike shop was not impacted.
A few years ago we had an active sewage leak leading to the cancellation of a sale. While staff were tending to the murky, textured water, warehouse sale regulars still wanted to shop. We couldn’t let that happen then, just as we couldn’t let folks shop by candlelight last weekend. All of that said, we recognize how stoked people get about our warehouse sales and it brings us no joy to cancel them.
So. We are having a special one-off sale from 1-4PM on 8/29 to make up for the cancellation (and to move some bikes). This will be a big sale, with prices ranging from free to $500 for primo bicycles in good condition.
If the end of summer has you feeling like you didn’t ride enough, and also you want a new used bike, this could be your ticket. We have an abundance of as-is road bikes. Some of them just need a safety check and some air in the tires, while others might need a weeklong bath in degreaser and the attention of a patient mechanic with experience setting up braking and shifting systems that were designed specifically to not work together. That’s all part of the magic.
