Bike Works Presents

Be your inner super hero community bike ride

Sunday, June 4th 11am- 3pm during Bicycle Sunday. Find Bike Works at 43rd and Lake Washington Blvd (Across from the Mount Baker Rowing Club).
Come dressed as your inner superhero! Stop by Bike Works station to join our Super Hero Scavenger Hunt, decorate your bike, and participate in games and activities.

Community Bike Ride Flier

A flier depicting a spin off of the Bike Works logo. The main person is wearing a red superhero cape. The text is the same as above.

A group of riders stand in a line on the grass next to their bikes. There are a bunch of trees and some blue sky in the background.

Bike Works is convinced that there is a super hero inside all of us. We want to celebrate every day super heroes in our community with a day of summertime bicycle fun.

This is a free, all-ages community bike ride. This is not a organized group ride so there is no set pace. Simply come ride your bikes with family & friends.
The BikeMobile, the Bike Works mobile bicycle repair shop, will be there offering basic bicycle repair to keep you on the road riding safely so stop on by and air up your tires or check your brakes before heading off on the Super Hero Scavenger Hunt.

Bicycle Sunday is a Seattle tradition where the road is closed to motor vehicles for the afternoon so that bicycles can take in the scenery. Join Bike Works on this particular Bicycle Sunday to explore the route with games, costumes, & more.

Mark your calendars for this fun, neighborhood bike ride!

Bike Works is also looking for volunteers to help with set-up, activities, and tear down. If you’d like to go above and beyond to help make this event a success, please contact Deb Salls to volunteer – deb@bikeworks.org.
Bike Works promotes the bicycle as a vehicle for change to empower youth and build resilient communities. Learn more about Bike Works mission, vision, and values.
