The Bike Works Bicycle Shop is committed to serving Seattle with affordable bicycle sales and professional service. We’re a full-service repair shop that also sells quality used bikes and various new and used bike parts and accessories. We literally have bins of used parts. If you are interested in keeping your older road or mountain bike rolling, we are definitely a place you should check out. Our refurbished adult used bikes typically sell from $200 to $450 although we sometimes have refurbished "Benjamin Bikes" for $100 and often have some great "as-is" deals that we sell out of our warehouse. Our kids’ bikes are also priced to sell, between $20 and $50. A primary focus of our shop is in providing affordable bikes for all riders.
As a full-service repair shop, we will repair any bike. We offer a full array of services, from minor adjustments and tune-ups, to custom wheel-building and full bike overhauls. And though our labor rates are among the lowest of Seattle’s bike shops, we take pride in being able to provide careful, quality service.
Our staff looks forward to assisting you with all of your bicycle-related needs. We want to be your local bike shop. We like talking to people about bikes, and even more than that, we like getting people riding their bikes again. Come by any time we're open to chat about any bike-related issues you might have. We'll listen to you and take the time to answer your questions. We'll help you keep your old bike going, dial your bike in for a better fit, fix what's broken or help you find a bike that fits both your dreams and your budget.
We accept donations. All the used bikes in our shop come to us as donations, so if you have a much loved old bike collecting dust in your garage, please bring it on by any time our shop is open. Bike Works receives and processes a large number of donations that are distributed and used throughout the organization. Donated bicycles and parts may be utilized in the Shop, for Earn-A-Bike students, as part of our Bikes-To-Seattle programs, rehabilitated by volunteers for our Kids Bike Swap, or as part of our Bikes-To-Communities Abroad partnership. Although our shop is small, we have a warehouse of bikes containing over 150 used bikes in stock at any given time. We make the most of used parts that still have plenty of useful life and replace worn out parts with inexpensive, reliable new components. We make sure our refurbished bikes are good matches for their new owners and we can help you select the right frame, seat, handlebars and other parts to make your bike a custom fit for you.
While we help keep you rolling, you help us fund a variety of programs that support and build our community. Bike Works is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that relies upon the proceeds and hard work of the Bicycle Shop; 100% of proceeds from the Shop benefit our year-round youth and community programs.

Bike Repair Packages:
Safety Tune $25.00 (plus parts)
Minor brake and gear adjustment, lube chain, tighten all fasteners, inflate tires.
Drive Train Cleaning $30.00 (plus parts)
Degrease and clean chain, cassette/freewheel, and chainrings, relube chain.
Tune-Up $60.00 (plus parts)
Clean Frame, true wheels, adjust brakes and shifting, adjust hubs, headset and bottom bracket, tighten all fasteners, lube chain, inflate tires.
Overhaul $125.00 (plus parts)
Strip bike to frame, clean, reinstall components with fresh grease, adjust all components.
