BIKE REPAIR FOR ADULTS
Bicycle repair classes for students over the age of 18! Our programs for adults offer the same fun, friendly, and accessible high-quality bike education that students who are under 18 get in our Youth Programs. Dates of upcoming classes are subject to change.

Squeaky Brakes

Our Squeaky Brakes class is a one-time three hour seminar covering the basics of bike maintenance for bike commuters. In squeaky brakes, we'll walk commuters through fixing flat tires, cleaning the working parts of your bicycle, and brake repair and adjustments. For more info and upcoming classes: contact info@bikeworks.org or call (206) 725-9408 x1. Next class on Monday, May 14th, 6:30-9:30pm, $50

A.B.C - Adult Basics Class
A.B.C. teaches just that, the ABC’s of bike repair. In this class we will focus on the basics, in a format specially designed for beginners. A.B.C. is an opportunity to learn the most fundamental concepts of bicycle repair in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. For more info and upcoming classes: A.B.C.

D.E.F. - Developing Excellent Fixing-Skills
Our intermediate class takes the foundational knowledge you already posses as an intermediate bicycle mechanic and builds on it, taking you further than you thought you could go. The class focuses on current bicycle technology and advanced repair techniques. D.E.F. is considered a class for those with basic level of experience and comfort with bike repair, but it is still a safe and fun environment designed to help all students to grow as mechanics. For more info and upcoming classes: D.E.F.

G.H.I. - Gosh! How Interesting!
Our Gosh! How Interesting! classes are (still friendly and accessible) intermediate/advanced classes that take a more in-depth look at certain components. For example, some G.H.I. classes we have offered are our True That! and Build That! bicycle wheel classes. For more info and upcoming classes: G.H.I.

VOLUNTEER WORKTRADE STRUCTURE
Bike Works offers reduced fees for our adult classes in return for volunteer service. The volunteer worktrade model is a way for us to give back to our volunteers and to invite our students to participate in our volunteer community.
